I lived at Northgate from January 2000 to November of 2000. Management was friendly, maintence was not timely but you didn't have to beg to get something fixed; the surrounding areas are dilapadated; the basketball court is needing extreme repairs; the "playground" consisted of a slide and two swings. The Laundry room is not centrally located. Parking was very inconveinet most of the time. I broke my lease early because of the POLICE they are there NIGHTLY!!!!! The straw that broke the camel's back was being awoke in the afternoon by a S.W.A.T. police officer stating the complex was being evacuated due to a hostage situation in the building across from mine (B-11). We moved out into a house for $135 less per month. Then Seldin went after me for breaking my lease and didn't return the deposit due to "soiled" carpets (I had a newborn and a 3yr. old at the time, carpets get dirty!) The worst experience for an apartment. It's been 7 years and I am moving into another one. I know it CAN"T be worse than Northgate. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji

I use to live there in the one bedroom section from 1998-2000,then in January of 2000,my Husband & I moved across the parking lot to the "townhouse"B-4.Compared to apartments that I lived in East Coast,Northgate was like heaven!We were shocked on that hot day,when there was the swat team,police all over ,we just got home from work & couldn't enter our home.other than that our unit was nice & clean.Also get more privacy,with your own entrance,than the apartments down the road,where you have to go down LOUD smelly halls to get to your front door.
