Unique living experience

I've been a resident for about 7 months and feel compelled to respond to "think twice about this one...". I choose to live at 10th street because of the raw living environment. This truely is a 'loft' living space.
Concrete floors do cause sound to bounce in the apartments and hallways, but laying a rug down in your apartment definitely helps. Plus, I felt that the concrete floors were part of the charm! How cool is it to think of what was done in this old Ford building almost 100 years ago, on these actual floors!
The windows are amazing and unlike any apartment I've ever been in. Again, the open air feel is part of the reason why I choose to live here. One of the most beautiful things I saw this winter was the snow falling with the lights from Downtown Des Moines as a back drop.
Maintenace and Management have always been polite and prompt with requests. They do everything they can to keep the apartments and grounds running in top shape!
Yes, additional parking is across the street. If you choose to live in an urban environment, then sometimes you need to be flexible.
Granite counter tops, exposed brick walls, extra storage available in the basement, skywalk 1 block north, 5-10 minute walk to court avenue...all are reasons why I chose to live at 10th Street and why I continue to enjoy my stay. Plus, the fact that I'm living in an old building that has been renovated for other purposes. What a way to support Downtown Des Moines.

Five false reviews posted in 24 hours by the building's management/owner. That's incredible. Everyone should know (as if it isn't obvious) that all five of these "new reviews" are bogus and were not posted by residents, past or present. Notice they are all written with the exact same grammar and syntax? Very convenient. Just remember, the same game can be played in reverse...Sunny.

"Five false reviews" and "Everyone should know...'new reviews' are bogus". I actually am a current resident, wrote the review above, and am renewing my lease for another year because I enjoy living there.
