We have lived at 10th Street Lofts for about a year now. I honestly have nothing but positive things to say. We have a two bedroom unit that is huge and sunny with high ceilings, exposed duct work, and concrete floors. It is wide open and very well laid out with big windows along the entire side. The management has been great to us....nothing but kind, reasonable and helpful. They are very strict about the rent being paid by the 3rd of each month but communicate very clearly about all of their policies. We love the maintenance man. He is always cleaning the hallways (which are gleaming) and the few times we have had any issues in our unit he has fixed them right away. We can walk to everything downtown which we love. I would highly recommend this community to anyone who wants a a great place to live in downtown Des Moines.

Five false reviews posted in 24 hours by the building's management/owner. That's incredible. Everyone should know (as if it isn't obvious) that all five of these "new reviews" are bogus and were not posted by residents, past or present. Notice they are all written with the exact same grammar and syntax? Very convenient. Just remember, the same game can be played in reverse...Sunny.

I know it's surprising to find more than one person in the world who can write with proper grammar and syntax, but I am not management and I stand beside my review. It's not fair that two horrible reviews should have so much impact, especially when this place is great, and frankly I think it's very convenient, not to mention cowardly, for you to post anon when you probably don't know anything about this property. So go suck blood somewhere else.

So because you didn't like 2 reviews, you decided to post 5 fake ones to offset them? Timeline: Late Feb: owner of building discovers this site, responds to all negative reviews by pointing out that former management company was fired (after over a year of mistreating residents) 3 weeks later: Five glowing, overly indulgent, positive reviews appear on this site within a 24-hour period. All five appear to flow together and were clearly written by the same individual. All very odd. Bottom line, false reviews are not the purpose of this site, and offsetting your negatives with fakes is unethical.

Re: chadeen's comment above No, he didn't say "There is more than one post with 'proper grammar and syntax' therefore they must be the same person. He said it's the *same* grammar and syntax, proper or otherwise. The mechanics are such that we can clearly see you are one individual writing all the positive reviews. Just be honest about it.

Hey Anonymous, Sunny isn't even the manager anymore. And she hasn't been for a LONG time. Why don't you go follow her wherever she went and stop harrassing everyone who posts about the 10th St. Lofts?
