Having lived in several apartments I thought this was a great place to live. The main reason is it is VERY quiet. We could only hear our neighbors if they were in the hall outside our door. Also, maintenance was very quick about fixing problems. When we moved in I asked them to replace the vinyl flooring in one of the bathrooms and they did it with no hesitation. When we wanted to get out of our lease early they where very helpful and showed our apartment several times to prospective tenants. I wish that there would have been more parking available but there really isn't anything they could do to fix that problem. I felt like they kept the grounds very clean and well maintained. They entry ways and stairways were cleaned reguraly. Also, they were very good about pest controll. We never had a problem with any bugs. Overall, I would recommend this place and I would point out that people usually only leave comments when they are upset so I would recommend at checking it out for yourself.

I would agree with the below person it looks like management is doing this posting as we all know steve and dwayne they both are cheap jerks who can never respect another human,also can you imagine getting away from lease from these two.Beaware before you move in to this apartments there is no way out once you sign lease you are a gooner..This is one of the worst managers i have ever dealt with..

Seriously, either the management is posting all these good reviews, or they're getting someone else to do it for them. My husband & I have lived in several different apt complexes since Four Seasons, and I can honestly say this was the worst complex!!! It was not quiet, I suppose it could be if you were located way in the back of the complex. We could hear our neighbors all the time, but it did no good to complain, b/c mgmt didn't care if it didn't affect them. I am very surprised that they actually replaced the vinyl flooring w/o any problems. They are such cheapskates, they wouldn't replace a thing while we were there, yet managed to charge us for things that were wrong when we moved in! They also would not let us out of our lease. Dwayne acted like a major jerk and treated us like morons. Needless to say, that made the rest of our stay uncomfortable. Move here if you want, but like others have said, you get what you pay for!!! Be forewarned!!!!!

Funny, I could always hear my neighbors having sex...all of them. In fact, I even heard them sneeze. I would like to have lived in the part that you lived in! Clearly, another post by management. To those who are honest about not liking this complex, I am starting a movement! Tell all your friends who are former tenets to come on here and write a review! There is only two of them and even they would get caught using the same IP address to create 20 or 30 false accounts. We need to show them our voice will be heard. I currently have a former resident (DMU grad) working on a doctoring site convincing the class of 2012 (the next class) not to move here! So far, he has turned away 20 individuals! We can do this my friends!

Who ever Johnnyvom is...you need to relax! Be thankful you're listening to the sex rather than shootings! There are so many other issues in the community right now! Hopefully you do volunteer work, rather than sit on the computer complaining. Good luck turning all those students away b/c it's all about location and being female, I wouldn't turn down any offers from Steve! Girls he is a looker and is very caring!! I strongly believe he takes excellent care of his tenants and property. The only complaint I have is, he is already taken!

I wrote about this in another post but, I just want to draw people's attention to the fact that this sounds just like the other poster curious44. It also sounds a lot like Steve's girlfriend. Both of which make this pretty sad.

Just to point something out: most residents do not continually check apartment ratings to make responses to people's posts. Management: stop making dumb posts to make yourself look good. I think based upon all of the reviews already created, we realize that your apartments are not a good place to live. I was looking for a new place to live in Des Moines, but I can tell you that based upon the reviews I have seen, I would never live in your establishment. I do not usually make comments like this on someone's site while looking for apartments, but it really bothers me that management would try to interfere with an honest site like this.
