You will not find a better place to live in the entire city. The location is prime. The management is exceptional and maintenance problems are fixed immediately (usually within hours). A beautiful old building from the roaring twenties that just feels like home. Highly recommended. No application fee when I applied.

UPDATE: I received a refund for rent paid and my deposit. I was charged $106.88 for cleaning and other stuff. Most of the charges were legitimate. However, I was charged for cleaning bathroom fixtures and kitchen cupboards which were left so clean they would have passed military white glove. And I served for 12 years, so I am very familiar with inspections. Just be aware that when you move out, don not bother busting your arse cleaning like I did. Whoever they get to clean the place (June is one of them) will pad her bill. She must need the money to pay the exorbitant sin tax Chet Culver recently imposed on her. But that's just mere speculation. I have 12 MP images avaiable showing the gleaming clean fixtures if you want. Simply email me at alan@ismyname.us and I would be glad to show them to you.

At least the rent was lowered to 495. Oh, and be prepared to spend about 50 bucks more than the amount of 25 ish they quote you for the power if you live on the garden level as the windows leak like a sieve. B4 falls below code when the outside air temps get below 15 or so. Electric space heater(s) are a necessity.

That reminds me, I guess I should transfer the power back to someone up there in Iowa...
