Take my word and theirs...DO NOT RENT FROM HERE

I decided to live here because I had previously had a lease with another Timberland property and had a wonderful experience living there. I only moved because I didn't want to commute to work any longer. I needed a place that allowed dogs and Timberland Point was accomodating by allowing me to sign a 5 month instead of 6 moth lease. Unfortunately, the difference between my previous residence and Timberland Pointe is like night and day.
I have hated living here. What other postings have said about the water pressure, temperature, noise, cleanliness, and management are all true. My biggest complaint has been noise issues. The walls are thin enough to hear other people watching tv and playing video games at normal volumes, not to mention what it is like when the sound is escalated. I have had major noise problems with one of my neighbors. This tennent has thrown frequent parties and has hooked his speakers up as an alarm clock...waking me up with thudding base at 5:30am most mornings, not to mention the weekends when he is gone, but has left the alarm set such that I am forced to endure booming until he gets home. Of course, inconsiderate people can be found at any complex, but I have complained on two separate occaisions to the management to no avail. The first time I thought I was being taken seriously as they said they would send him a letter and "address the issue." Well, after a month of no real change I spoke with someone different. This person couldn't have cared less about my issues. He told me that unless my problems were during office hours (but of course they're not because i work during the day!) they couldn't do anything about it and that music that is loud to one person may not be loud to another. His suggestion was that I call the cops. Of course, I can't call the cops every morning at 5:30 just because I'm being woken up by this guy's alarm clock hooked into his system.
In addition to the noise, this place lacks cleanliness in the common areas (my hallway constantly smells like a cross between vomit and hotdogs) and the caliber of the majority of people who live here is disgusting. After having lived here, I'm apalled that the buildings do not have controlled access due to the shady characters that I've seen around.
Ironically, I had read the poor reviews on this site before I decided to sign my lease but had chalked up all the bashing to disgruntled tennets. Besides, could a place that allowed pets, was close to Grays Lake and downtown, not to mention the shopping on the west side be that bad'' IT IS! Do not get sucked it by location or price. DO NOT RENT FROM TIMBERLAND POINTE!!!
