I imagine this apartment complex is somewhat similar to what hell would feel like.

PARKING: A total disaster area. All the lines are hand-painted, so some spaces are larger than others. Of course, even if there WERE lines, I doubt anyone would be able how to park anyway. My car has so many door dings from people thinking they can squeeze their car in between mine and another. The landlord isn't much help with the situation either. She has threatened several times to tow cars that are parked along the curb (making it hard to back out), but I have yet to see any actions taking place.

NOISE: If you can handle people who honk their horns 50 times in the morning, the occasional domestic fights, and the loud, blaring music coming from both apartments and cars, you'll do just fine here.

GROUNDS: Personally, I don't enjoy dead grass and potholes all over the parking lot, but apparently University Terrace does.

SAFETY: I have never felt unsafe here; however I have been approached a few times by strangers asking for cigarettes and money and it really freaked me out.

CONSTRUCTION: I will say that the new windows that were installed recently really help keep heating/cooling costs down. They are pretty efficient. There is no sound proofing, however, and I can often hear the neighbors coughing and sneezing, and I always know what shows they are watching.

MAINTENANCE: The maintenance people are generally on top of things. I had my toilet break and someone came right away to fix it. No complaints here.

OFFICE STAFF: The landlord is careless. She is very good at threatening people, but she never seems to follow through, which is why people continue to get away with all the crap that goes on here. She is condescending and unprofessional in her "threat notes" especially by the way she says things like she is our "mommy" and she needs to tell us all what to do because clearly we are incapable of handling ourselves. Here's an idea: Follow through on your numerous threats and people will start taking you seriously.

OVERALL: Don't waste your time or money. At first, it seems like a great place to live. The landlord seems nice. Everyone seems great. But then you move in and you realize that you've gone straight to hell.
