Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005
When I was living at the Wakonda Village Apartments, I hated it (I was there for 3 years.) Tiny, OVERPRICED apartments that haven't been properly maintained in years and were terribly drafty. My heating bill in the winter came close to $200 some months due to the lack of insulation. Paper thin walls where you can hear everything your neighbor is doing (and I mean EVERYTHING...) Now I live at Lancaster Place apartments and wish I were back at Wakonda! My new landlady at Lancaster is a nightmare and my new neighbors are SCARY people, making me apprehensive to go out at night. At Wakonda, at least I had ok neighbors and wasn't afraid to walk outside at night. Still doesn't make up for all the actual apartments lack, though.
