I read the other reviews and yes the windows are older.. The paint is chipping off of the windows, in the shower and around some edges of the walls. One of the 2 worst thing about the studio is that you can barely move in the kitchen which makes us not want to cook.. and when you're cooking anything the smoke detector will go off unless you have the fan on - even from steam. The other is the shower - HORRIBLE water pressure, it takes way long to take a shower because hardly any water comes out of it. & the temperature changes from hot to cold or vice versa randomly. The office said there's nothing they can do about it.

Since this was our first apartment we had to pay a full months rent as a deposit.. Unfortunately we signed a 12 month lease because I was planning on going to school in Des Moines... but plans have changed and we need out, so we'll have to pay another months rent plus not get our deposit back, and since we just adopted a cat another $300 to pay.... it sucks.

The office staff is very kind and if you can actually notify them in person then they're prompt to get maintenance to your apt.

FOR A STUDIO APT. THE HEAT BILL IS ALWAYS AROUND $100 even when we keep it on 60... because the windows let cold air in all the time..... it sucks.
