I have rented with AUR 2x and both times they sucked my security deposit dry and charged me extra. They came and painted half way through the year but they only painted half the place, so it was two colors in the family room, GHETTO. They also promised us new counters and cabinets, thus the extra $60 a month we were paying versus other apartments of the same design. Yeah they replaced countertops, 2 weeks b/f I moved out and the cabinets were not replaced, the doors were painted to the inside was brown and the doors were white, AGAIN GHETTO. They are scam artists and will charge you for anything. I have rented with others and got my whole security deposit back. We had bums passed out in the hallway, the guy across the hall had people coming in and out at all hours and finally was arrested for selling drugs. Parking sucked, I was charged $60 a month and my car was towed numerous times because people were always parking in my spot. The only positive this was that the place was close to campus. Otherwise, the rent was too much for a 40 year old building. They installed cameras in the hallways and all that did was promote people to kick holes in the walls. The laudry rooms smelled like urine, I caugt someone peeing in the drying one time, that's real sanitary. I suggest Keystone.
