I ended up renting with AUR because they're the only company around here that doesn't do a credit check, and I have really bad credit. Unfortunately, to balance this policy out financially, they overcharge really bad on rent. The maintenance is pretty good though, in comparison with other places I've lived. If you have some type of problem and call the maintenance line, they'll be there really quickly. (At least, in my experience.) The rules of the lease are REALLY strict--you can only have three nail holes in each wall to get your deposit back at the end of the lease, for example! Basically, our apartment doesn't suck, but it's really not worth what we pay for it. For the first half, I paid the normal rent, and then when my boyfriend moved in they charged an extra $75 for him! Oh yeah, and while I'm remembering: when we first got the apartment, we were told that we could get a parking space for a certain amount a month. They completely misled me, because then they told me I had to pay all of it up front! They seem pretty sneaky. But as I said, I didn't have much choice with my credit. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
