Run away now, save yourself

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
Our neighbors openly dealed drugs outside their "townhouse" (I use the word townhouse loosely). Our townhouse was so badly kept up that we had major stains on our carpet and one bedroom had mold up and down the wall near the window. The neighbors once got into a knife fight outside out apartment, the cops did hourly driveby's, we were harassed entering and leaving our building, the college is 30 minutes away on the city bus which is a whole different awful experience. Pay the extra money, stay the hell away from this apartment, you'll regret it if you live there. The mold kept my roommate and I sick for the better part of a year. We genuinely feared for our lives more than once. Our flimsy lock was the only thing keeping us from our neighbors who I'm guessing were on parole. I am not exaggerating and I'm likely forgetting some other occurances. Avoid this building, also avoid the apartment complex on Broadway street just a few blocks over. Believe it or not, that building is actually slightly worse than Lakeside
