My now husband and I needed a cheap place to stay after college. Being unfamiliar with the area we decided Lakeside was a good choice...WRONG. Allow me to list the reasons; drugs, pedophiles, property crimes, physical crimes, massive roaches, and non-existent maintenance. However, the one thing that totally got to me was the mold that grew out of control in every apartment (studio or townhouse) at Lakeside. People, this place can actually harm you. If the rest doesn't get to you, the mold certainly will. Management paints directly over the mold, it does not clean it properly. STAY AWAY. You'll be thankful.
