You *almost* get what you pay for... and Lakeside is cheap. =/

Let's call a spade a spade, shall we' Lakeside (now "Dolphin Lake Point Enclave") is a cheap crap-hole... that's why people move there. It's about $100/mo cheaper than most places in IC, and it shows. I always had small problems, and they always acted like I was over-reacting. Like all the reviews for this place, I have to mention the mold. If you do not like the smell of bleach, don't move here, because you'll have to bleach the mold off of your walls about once a week (more in spring). What you see is what you get, don't count on the staff and maintenance much, when they finally get around to something, it's likely still not going to be done right. My fridge was placed in such a way that the door prevented any of the refrigerator drawers from being opened. Likewise, I lost a silverware drawer because the oven stuck out in front of it. The blinds were beat up and ratty. The only roach problems I had were from the hall way, so I just emptied a can of raid into my door frame and that ended that. There's always people scrounging in the dumpsters and couples seem to love having shouting matches at about 3:00am, most nights of the week. The upside of the crime level is that there's pretty much always at least one cop car in the complex, so it's almost like having on site 911 response.
Long story short... don't do it; unless you love adventure that is(in which case, I recommend the laundry facility).
