Regal Townhomes

I live in a house on the same street ("kiddie-corner")as these apartments/condos (whatever you want to call them). We have lived in this house for 17 years, and I will tell you that those apartments were not constructed well at all. One night, at 1 AM, a few weeks ago, we awoke to an awful conversation across the street at (yes, you guessed it) the "condos." Some guy was yelling at this other guy that he was a woman beater and he was going to jail. I can't count how many dozens of times the cops are there in a year. Thank God we have a wonderful police force in Marion! The condos have this awful cheap siding, and no one ever uses their 2-stall garages. They are EMPTY. Guess where everyone parks? IN THE STREET. It's bumper-to-bumper. People are tearing out of their at all hours, and there are some scary characters that walk up and down the street who watch my kids playing outside. A friend lived down there and said no one was living next door to her in her condo, but she could hear the people from 2 condos over through the walls! The carpet is fraying, they are poorly insulated, and if you can't tell from Hwy 100, every building is built to make a buck...they're all crammed into this space in every way possible. Believe me, I watched these buildings go up. We fought for single-family dwellings. This is what we got. What a poor way to represent our clean, safe community. I'm just glad I don't live directly across the street! But, we're close enough to see what goes on.
