Overall, a positive experience

In the last 10 years I have lived in 6 different apartment complexes, and I feel compelled to let others know that this is the most satisfying experience I have had.

Staff: I left my previous apartment complex because of bad management, so this was an area of particular concern for me. The Concorde management team (----- and ---) blew me away right from the start with their friendliness and professionalism. They treated tenants like treasured friends and seemed to know everyone's name upon sight. I was devastated when this management team was replaced due to acquisition by TAB Properties. The new management has been helpful and accommodating, but are not as friendly as the previous team.

Maintenance: Maintenance requests are always fulfilled promptly, and in the winter Austin always has the walkways salted and/or cleared by the time I need to leave for work. The heating system in my apartment stopped working one very cold night, and ----- left his son's wedding reception to fix it for me. That is incredible service! Beware: with the change in management, they will no longer assist you if you are locked out of your apartment. They tell you to call a locksmith.

Noise: I can hear every move my upstairs neighbor makes; it almost sounds as though the noise is amplified into my apartment. I would strongly advise you to rent a top-floor unit if this kind of noise bothers you. People are very noisy going up and down the stairs outside. On the upside, I can not hear the neighbors beside or below me.

Construction / apartment: Construction is of average quality. Cold air leaks into my apartment through windows and electrical outlets during the winter. Everything is electric so my bills stay pretty low. I rent a Tahoe (1 bedroom); this floor plan makes very efficient use of the space. I can't believe how much storage space I have, and I love the Roman soaking tub.

Parking: I am not always able to park right next to my building but there is ample parking throughout the complex so this is not generally a big deal.

Overall, I have very much enjoyed being a tenant here. I must relocate due to my job, and it will be a miracle if I manage to find another complex that can match High Pointe.
