My wife and I left our apartment in great condition and we hardly recieved any of our (large) deposit back. We are possibly thinking of taking them to small claims court. Also the maintainance man is a little shady.

I agree. I used to live there and the older maintence guy was sooo rude. He always thought he was right. And they are so strict. When I was waiting on filling out my application I saw the woman manager almost bring a girl to tears because she sat there and yelled at her about the rules of no music and no boyfriends staying the night more than one night a week, at the end the girl didnt rent there and left with tears in her eyes, how unprofessional?

Huh? Clearly a lie. The manager "yelled at her" when she was apartment shopping. LIE.
