Townhome was pretty nice

We just moved out about a month ago. We bought a house. Couldn't stand the thought of throwing money away by renting anymore. We probably would've stayed at Westpointe though. We lived at "Turtle Crap" in WDM before here. Not even comparable. Westpointe is much better. It is older, and you can see the painted over cracks in the walls. The fridge sounded like a chicken clucking when it was running, but overall it was still a nice place. I guess I would have to say that the carpet sucked. Everytime we vacuumed, it would suck up more carpet fibers than dog hair.
We thought the staff was pretty nice. I didn't care for one of the maintenance guys, but the one with the long beard and raspy voice was really good and seemed to listen to your concerns. The tall skinny one was rude and didn't know how to fix anything himself. We always had to have the other guy come back to fix anything. Our utility bills were reasonable. The insulation seemed to be pretty good. We had a family of 4 or 5 next door and rarely ever heard them. I thought the place was very pet friendly and really took an interest in our pet.
Overall, I think we would recommend this place. They did raise the rent just before we moved out and I think it was a bit pricey, but I hadn't looked elsewhere to be able to compare since we were buying a home instead.
Don't believe everything you read, but do take everything into consideration. It will help in making your decisions. Good luck to any new renters.
