It is not safe for women to live in this complex!! Management and/or maintenance roam in and out of rented apartements at will.

I noticed my undies were out of place and so we have a pantie smeller roaming through women's apartments when they are gone!! People that do this are not safe and should not be working for the apartment complex in any shape or form. I assume this person is also a sex offender.

Watch what channels your TV is on when you leave in the morning and what channel it is on at night when you return. I am sure you will notice that it has been changed. Women watch your dirty laundry and you will notice your undies have been sniffed and/or inhaled.

Management seems to encourage this for some unknown reason. Don't live here and don't rent here. I have two retired servicemen (Marine & Navy) (one is also a retired deputy) coming and they have a two very big surprises for this pervet who ever it is.

I also live here and the service here is horrible. I am trying to break my lease since they are so horrible about fixing things. The add states that a maintence is completed within 24 hours , untrue I have had maintenace orders in over 3 months. Good luck if you move here.

I also live here and do not understand these reviews -- because I think otherwise. I have lived in several other apartment communities and find this one to be the best yet!!!!! I have never had any problems with picking up packages delivered to the office which by the way is a service to me because then I do not have to retrieve them from UPS if I am not home when they get delivered - I just have to walk up to the office. By the way - the Post office does not leave packages at the rental office because that is the post office's policy - so if you package suddenely appeared out of thin air - your problem is with the post office not the rental office staff. I am not sure what part of the property you live on - but my sidewalks are always cleared and icemelted. I have never had a problem with them. As for Cable or dish network - I have a dish - I just had to following the apartment policy on how to install it. I am not sure what your issues are with the rental office staff but get your facts straight. I have lived here since they new management staff and company have taken over and they are great!! Yes we have had to put up with some construction and inconveniences in moving our cars due to parking lot repairs but IT WAS WELL WORTH THE TROUBLE. I now live in a great community and it is not expensive to live here at all. I LOVE IT!!!!!

i agree with the pakage thing, i went to the offie once and it took them like five minutes to find my pakage in the closet or whatever it was piled into. the lady was all "we should really get to organizing this" They have made alot of improvements but its all kind of half-assed and still ghetto looking. i don't recommened living here unless you like really loud spanish music at all hours of the night.. thats my biggest complaint, im not sure that everyone living in these apartments are legal residents of the united states.

They ALWAYS put that stupid sign up that says "Will be back by..." with the picture of the little clock, but the time that it is pointing to is the time the office closes. I suspect someone who works in the office either lives in the apt's or knows someone and goes and chills over there until it is time for closing. They also have a huge issue with answering the phones and returning messages. It is pretty plain to see what you are dealing with here, former housewives and graduates of the esteemed Iowa GED program. RES IPSA LOQUITUR

"im not sure that everyone living in these apartments are legal residents of the united states." hahaha that's so hilarious BECAUSE what does someone immigration status have anything to do with apartment management quality?? hmm...I wonder. I agree that they're loud and I'm a student. It bothers me sometimes, but wack...white "American" people scream so hard at night that bothers me even more. And yes, I'm not happy with the apartment's management. The living room is so huge that I've to turn my heater so high up since the balcony slider SUCKS real bad. It gets so cold and now I ended up paying so much for heat. Grrrr! I've asked them if I could switch my lease from 2-beddie to 1-beddie andthey said no. weirdos. i'd still be here and pay them. stupid people don't get it! and yes, im so moving outta here once my lease is complete. dang, those driveways scare the hell outta me when it snows. they come at 8am to clean and i see people leaving home before 7am. And yes, the bugs and bats. Arggh!! I've been scratching everyday since I've moved here.Things are so old and they try to paint them to look new and better. Hello management: we're not that dumb! R&R wears nice suit, but ugly unwashed old torn underwears; and they believe we can't tell. Ha, we can smell you.

I just want to point out that this women who posted this changes her story every couple of months. That is why the responses to her post don't make sense. If she was really feels this unsafe she would simply move, but instead she has nothing better to do with her time then complain. Don't believe her!!! Country Club village is a great place to live and would be a better place to live if this women moved out. She has gone to the extreme of changing her door handle out to a dead bolt. If the city of West Des Moines fire marshall finds this out, she could face a huge fine or even jail time as this is against firecode in apartment buildings in the city of West Des Moines. Myself and the rest of her neighbors want her to leave. Maybe a nice home on farm far away from everyone else would be a good place for her to live. *********************************************************************** I agree completely with renter2651. Country club is a great place to live and I haven't had any problems with the management or anybody on the property. I think the original poster was just looking for something to complain about. Also, I've never seen any bats around any of the apartment buildings and I frequently take walks outside at night.

I have to laugh when I hear some of your complaints---- I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to find my package. You are right - I would rather drive to UPS, fight the traffic, wait in line there and then drive back home before I have to wait 5 minutes at my apartment office 2 buildings away from my home. Or this one -- my living room is so HUGE that I have to pay more to heat it -- again why did I not think when I saw that huge living space that will finally fit all of my furniture -- did I not know I was getting a bigger apartment then my last one and it would cost me more to heat it??? What would you rather have a huge apartment or matchbox apartment that you can barely walk around in. I still don't know what you are all complaining about -- me and my neighbors seem to like it here just fine and I do not see any of these things you are complaining about. My sidewalks and my drives are plowed by 7:00 a.m. and if you don't like that you should move to Wellington -- I have a friend who lives there and her sidewalks still had snow on them the day after a snow storm - not even touched -- Now that is something to complain about!!!!!!
