Apartment is OK

The apartment my husband, daughter and I rent was a two bedroom, one bath on the third floor. It had been remodeled with brand new appliances and carpet, etc. About three months into our lease, the ceiling in our living room fell through due to water damage on the roof. The maintenance crew came over that night and vacuumed up the carpet but the ceiling had gotten all over our couch and my lap top. It was a few weeks before the water damage on the roof was fixed as well as the damage to our ceiling. Maintenance was apologetic though it was still annoying to have people coming in and out of our apt to fix the problem. A few other minor problems came up but maintenance always came to fix it the day we called in the issue. Overall, staff was pleasant. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations every time someone raised their voice. Children were constantly up until 11 or 12 at night slamming doors and their parents yelling at them. We are not going to renew our lease mainly because of our neighbors.
