Do not sign a lease here!

Do not sign a lease here! The noise level is atrocious, especially if you are put in a building anywhere near the interstate...which most of the buildings are close to. You cannot even have your windows open at any time if you want to have a conversation with someone without yelling. The parking is ridiculous....spaces are scarce after 6pm. Garages are expensive and not very big...only a smaller size car will fit in them. The mailboxes are incredibly inconvenient, with most at inconvenient corners of the parking lots. The pool is tiny, the "gym" is also tiny. The landscaping is overgrown, snaking its way up the stairs and into the walkways. The walls in the apartment are incredibly thin...you can hear your neighbors, especially in the bathrooms and bedrooms. The balconies/patios are small and again get little use because of the noise of the interstate. The staff made lots of promises when we signed our lease and omitted several of their "policies" which are not written in their lease or their addendum. Basically, if, after reading this, you still want to sign a lease, sign the shortest one possible. Don't be sucked in by any promotions they have because you'll have to pay them back regardless of when you decide to leave. We didn't believe the bad reviews of this place when we moved in, thinking they were from whiny people. If there is any possibility you would need to leave before the end of a lease term....DO NOT COME HERE! Unfortunately, about $2000 in penalties and fines later we know this to be true. Oh and don't be fooled by the bigger square footage...it's mostly hallways. Hope this review helps save someone else from the ridiculous treatment and rude service we have received from this complex and its parent company.

I have lived at the fountains for about 6 months. Not really sure exactly where this person is coming from.
The complex is close to the interstate, but the noise isn't too bad. I will admit that if the windows are open during rush hour, it is audible.
I have only heard water running, which doesn't seem to bother me. I have never heard a person, tv or music from surrounding neighbors. The balcony is averyage size, but also includes a large storage closet. Not sure about the hallway comment, my hallway is 4x10, only 40sq feet of my total living space (about 1000sq ft). I have not noticed any weeds or anything that would suggest the place to be overgrown. Parking is not too bad.. I have never had to park more than 10 spaces away from my apartment. Garages are fine, I don't know what kind of car that person drives. I have a 2004 Bonneville SLE, fits Nicely. The mailbox is not real close to my apartment, but takes less than 2 minutes to walk there and also has a nice parking area to swing by and get the mail. The pool, It is kind of small. However, It has never been crowded. The gym is fair sized and has each of the most important machines and also has alot of free weights.
A couple of things this person forgot.
1) Free Tanning Bed. I almost never have to wait to use it.
2) Raquet Ball. I don't play, but looks nice.
3) Sauna, again I don't use it.. But, looks nice.
As I said above, I have only been here 6 months.. But, I have not seen any of the problems that the person is speaking of.
The only halfway valid point is parking. I get acustomed to parking in front of my apartment, sometimes it isn't available. But even then I have never had to walk more than 10 spaces.. I actually went out and counted... Man, I was ticked that night, now I look out and laugh, that really isn't far at all.

Lola is right ... the pool isn't heated, they've jumped all the rooms around( I doubt you use more than a parking spot) and wait till your lease ends .. notice those moving trucks going out?
