I can't wait for my lease to run up. we have had numerous issues with items in our apartment (heat, stove, windows that dont lock, etc.) When it was freezing cold out, and our heat broke numerous times...but emergency maintenance never returned calls late at night. There were a few times where we actually had to pack up at 1am and go stay with friends since they never answered the pages. Definitely do not get anything for the money..and good luck getting anything fixed. Also, I can hear everything from the upstairs neighbors...from what song they are playing to when they sneeze. Annoying.

Noise is something you are going to get from any apartment complex. Did you tell management that you had to "pack up" at 1am to stay at a friends house? You have to expect some problems with older buildings. The question is, aside from your heat issue, were other problems taken care of in a timely manner? Or even reported for that matter? Problems don't fix themselves!

That's the question? Why? Because you say it is? There's something really sad about members of management getting on the internet and writing jibberish they believe to be valid arguments. You can see that the above responder believes himself or herself to be highly intelligent. What an intellectual lightweight.
