Our experience while living at Meadow Chase was ok. Maintenance was a bit slow but nearly always fixed the problem. Quiet area with nice neighbors. When we moved out (at the end of our lease) we were told the refund of our deposit could take up to 4 weeks (we were fine with that). Between the time we vacated and the end of the 4 one of the owners filed for bankruptcy. We were assured that it wouldn't affect our refund. It has now been 2 full months and we still have no refund. Management claims that it is due to a banking and computer system change....We are loosing hope.

I am in the exact same boat as the person who wrote a previous comment. On top of this I, somehow, "owe" money to this joke of a place. They sent me a bill for a quite large amount (no itemization) and when I asked what it was for I was told "oh well...I don't know...we changed computer systems...I can??????t provide this information to you?????? Supposedly they contacted the corporate office, it has been two weeks and I still haven't heard from them. Left them countless messages, no response, I??????m trying to get my deposit back as well but I was told to contact the corporate office for that. What kind of a company is this? Beware of the management, they are the most irresponsible and worthless people you can ever deal with.

CONTACT IOWA FAIR HOUSING, OR ANY OTHER HOUSING AGENCY IN DES MOINES, IOWA AREA. THE LAW STATES YOUR DEPOSIT NEEDS TO BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS. THE LIST GIVEN TO YOU ON LEAVING YOUR APARTMENT NEEDS TO BE ITEMIZED. GOOD LUCK
