I've had too many problems to tell them all. Individually, each problem might seem minor, but they pile up and I become more and more dissatisfied. I'll tell this one problem as an example.

The buildings have electric clothes dryers. One summer, the flexible exhaust hose kept coming off the dryer causing the hallway to become full of 110 degree 100% humidity air. I'd call and complain. After 1 to 3 calls, someone would come and put the hose back on the dryer again and it'd stay in place for a day or two, and then fall off again. Repeat this about 4 times in a row.

After a month of this nonsense, I walked into the rental office and told them in person in very stern terms that it's ridiculous that a repair I could do in 10 minutes with $10 worth of parts has still not been properly fixed in a month. Their response' They said that the laundry machines are owned and maintained by some other company (implying that it's not their fault). I had to remind them that the tenants who pay rent and live their lives in these buildings really don't give a damn about who it is that actually owns the machines, all we want is for the problem to be fixed. I had to remind the appartment manager that it was THEIR responsibility to see to it the machine was fixed RIGHT with a NEW flexihose. Whether that meant they fixed it themselves, or if that meant they called the laundry operating company and tell them to fix it, I didn't care.

About the only positive for this place is that they do allow pets (you do have to pay more to have pets though).

I agree...I also had a problem where I was told something was going to get fixed before I moved in and then as soon as I moved in they told me it couldn't be fixed. The manager is rude to me every time I talk to her.

Agreed. Very rude management. Avoid at all costs!!!
