Olde English Village is a good compromise between luxury and affordability. There's a pool, a tennis court, plenty of extra lawn and a small children's park. As far as West Des Moines goes, Olde English Village is about as reasonably priced as it gets without sacrificing a decent living environment.
Plus, its close to I235. If you are close to I235, you are at the most 10 minutes away from anything the Greater Des Moines area has to offer. Regrettably, the Greater Des Moines area is no Rio De Janero- or even a Trenton, New Jersey or a St.Paul, Minnesota for that matter.
