My biggest complaint were the extremely thin walls and the noise level. Every weekend night, we were kept awake by our partying downstairs neighbors and awakened early by the neighbors upstairs dropping bowling balls on the bedroom floor ( or at least that's what it sounded like). When a tenant was screaming obsenities and sobbing while running around the courtyard area, the police were called and the manager didn't bother to follow up with any of the residents, even after she had broken the fire extinguisher glass, posing a threat to the small child that lived next door. Not impressive. Also, when the water pipes were frozen in the laundry room, we were forced to go to the laundromat for 2 months, because we were told there was nothing that could be done. However, my living experience there wasn't all bad. The apartments are very spacious, the sunroom is an awesome feature, and the price was definitely right. Also very friendly neighbors, I think with proper insulation wouldn't have thought they were as loud. Although the management could have been more hands-on, I still found them to be eficient, for the most part, especially in maintenace matters, which were very few.
