The inside of the apartment appears nice when you first take a tour and move in, however, after you have lived here for a while you begin to realize how cheaply built and maintained the place is. We have vaulted ceilings in the living/main room and that makes the place seem bigger. The other rooms are small. The appliances are terrible ? the stove is crooked, the burners do not heat evenly and it takes forever for it to preheat to bake anything. The seal on my refrigerator is so loose you can put a piece of paper in it and it slides right out with just a light tug ? fridge and freezer. The door at the bottom is bent as well. The whole back of my fridge freezes things we can?t use at least of the fridge. One day the ice cream in the freezer will be so hard you can?t eat it, the next it will be like soup. We have lost a ton of food. The only thing they did to ?fix? it was bend the door back and tell us to adjust the settings (which we had done). There is mold all over the seal of the doors and there is water that runs down the back of the fridge and pools on the bottom. I had to tell them what balance the stove meant. I got tired of everything running to one side. They won?t replace anything. The kitchen faucet drips non stop and leaks into the cupboard below it. The toilet in the small bath squawks when you flush it and you have to hold the handle down forever for it to flush. The fan in the large bathroom has never worked. The seals on both the shower and tub mold ALL THE TIME no matter how much you clean them. There was a smoker in here before ? there are yellow streaks in the bathroom and now they are starting in the living room. The window blankets also mold all the time. The hot water will SCALD you!!!

The electric bills are outrageous!!! The air conditioner is in the living room so you freeze in there and roast in the rest of the apt even when you put fans around to move the air into the bedrooms and run the ceiling fans. The noise from the air conditioner and fans makes it impossible to hear anything. The window quilts are great for privacy when they don?t mold, come off the tracks or work period. When the quilts are closed though it is so dark that you have to use lights even during a sunny day. Forget about the electricity guarantee as well!! You have to live there 13 months, it is only half of what you paid over the guarantee and it is only for the first year ? no longer. They also try to double charge you for EVERYTHING!! Be very, very careful ? ask for a full printout of your account and go over it with a fine tooth comb!!

I live in one of the smallest buildings they have and the neighbors are so rude!! They stomp up and down the stairs at all hours and I can hear EVERYTHIGN!! The fire doors at the ends of the halls are very heavy and every time some one goes in or out they slam ? the doors to the apt slam as well. Don?t bother complaining ? it will do you no good. They don?t care and will do nothing. They don?t even enforce the parking rules. When you call to inform them that a car has not moved in over three weeks, they say if it belongs to a tenant they will do nothing. HELLO!! That is not what the handbook says!

The landscaping is ok. It would be better if they could manage to rake the old leaves, weed the flowers and pick up the trash that is scattered everywhere! They take forever to mow and then when they do they don?t pick up the grass clippings and leave it all over the sidewalks. The snow removal is terrible and dangerous ?when it is done. They also do not care where they pile the snow. They do not put out ice melt either. The play ground is another place where garbage such as beer bottle, broken glass, cigarette buts and condoms lie.

The laundry rooms are on the first floor in the building I live in and are not very convenient. The washers and dryers can be operated with quarters or a laundry card. The laundry card is nice but when they stop working any money you have on the card is not refunded. It has taken as much as 8 weeks for them to fix washers and dryers. They leak water all the time and burn clothes and do a very poor job of washing. I have had to wash things several times to get them clean ? and it is not because I put too much in them.

The office staff is rude and always have other things to do. To get a return phone call is out of the question - they are never in and never available.

If I had to do it over again I would NOT LIVE HERE!! I would NOT tell anyone else to live here ? unless they like these kinds of conditions.
