If I would have known that everything we were told during the tour was a lie, I would have taken as long as possible to find any other option.





There are kids on the floor above us who entertain themselves by running up and down their floor, down the stairs, down our floor, and start all over again. The apartment staff?s claims that it?s quite here are flat-out lies. I can hear my neighbors having sex at night, I can hear them get up and go to the bathroom, the fire doors at the end of the halls slam at all times of night, and people pound up and down the stairs at all hours, with no consideration for others.





People play loud music; they smoke -- and not just cigarettes -- in the halls; they pull into the parking lot at 11:30 p.m., 1 a.m., etc., blasting rap music as loudly as their car stereos allow. If you complain to the office about loud neighbors, they won?t do anything and tell you to tell the offenders to quiet down.





When it snows, they do a very, very poor job of cleaning up. There are huge patches of ice on sidewalks that could result in numerous broken bones, and they do nothing about it.





There are bigger, nicer, quieter apartment complexes for comparable amounts throughout Des Moines and West Des Moines. You?re better off elsewhere.
