FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS MOVE TO SUN PRAIRIE!

I have lived here with my boyfriend for a year now, and our lease is ending. We have been getting hounded by management to put our notice in if we are moving out. Like any other legal apartment complex, if moving out by march first you would need to have your notice to vacate in by january 31st. After dropping off the last month's rent check and NOTICE TO VACATE letter in an envelope marked January 30th, i called the office to make sure they had it. Apparently, since the so-called 'Vacate Processor' wasn't there until Tuesday, February 2nd, our notice didn't get processed until the second, we are then responsible for March.
This is the worst place to be. I have called Sun Prairie more than i can count on both my hands about loud tennants. I woke up about a month ago to my bathroom ceiling leaking in about two gallons of water (and I live on the second floor!) I have had to call child services on the people that live above me with complaints of women screaming at children under four years old. I have had leaks, scratches in the vinyl floors, burns in the carpet, and right when we moved in there was a bleached spot exactly thirteen inches long on what was supposed to be brand new carpet - (by the way, the cigarette burns in the walk - in closet said otherwise). My bedroom window was supposed to be fixed October 11th... it is now February 2nd and it is not done.
There is no parking. I get home at 8:15 pm from work everyday and have to park at the very least 3 buildings down. There are screaming, crying children on the playground who's parents are nowhere in sight 24/7. There have been several occasions where children just run out into the parking lot and almost get hit. Nobody does anything about it either.
This place is a NIGHTMARE.
Do not move here... You get what you pay for.
Move to the Fountains... they are worth the money.

I agree. I lived at Sun Prarie during college and there were always kids running around everywhere. My husband and I are moving back to WDM from Omaha (work) and I was contemplating Sun Prairie since it would just be for 6 months until we can buy a house. I am glad I looked at these posts because it reminded me of what a nightmare this place was. I though maybe it would have changed in 6 years. Guess not. I should have known better than to even think about it since this is the place where a bunch of attacks took place? Women assaulted?
