Personally, after visiting MANY of the WDSM area apartments in preparation for our Feb. move, we found Hamlet to be a much needed refresher in comparison to the rest of what the area had to show...So many were so misleading, unclean, badly cared for, hallways were GROSS or smelled rank, and the staff was typically either inexperienced and dishonest, or rude. Maybe we just came on a rare "good" day @ Hamlet, but compared to everyplace else we viewed, the lots were clean, the parking appeared to be abundant and well spaced, the apartments we were shown were well maintained with decent cabinentry/etc., & I didn't feel like I was in the ghetto. The one thing I DID find myself turned off by was the family yelling amongst themselves while the kids held the door open down the hall...really wanted to ask them to tone it down, but other than that, we were pretty sure we'd found the right place. However, now that I've read your reviews, I'll definently need to ask a few more questions and view a few more of this particular apartments rooms before making a real decision.

Very good idea. Selecting an apt. to stay in is one of the most important decisions a person will ever make in their lives.
