Before moving a little over a year ago my wife and I read some bad reviews about this place and just thought it was a few upset people who wrote here...I guess we were wrong.

We had a terrible experience at Turtle Creek. Many times we had people coming into our place without the posted notice that is required by law, as well as them not even knocking. We are both teachers and are home during the summer. On more than one occasion we had people walk in on us in our robes or just getting out of the shower. I reported this to the office on site, as well as the home office, and asked for it to stop, but it continued.

The repairs that were needed during out time there were never done correctly or by trained staff. I had one outlet left hanging from the wall until I called and had them come back to fix it, as well as many damages caused by the staff.

The accounting department is very messed up. They had to refigure things many times.

After move out last month, we recieved a very small check for our deposit and when we called the main office they told us that people call there all the time and complain about their refunds. My wife told them that we were going to report them to the better business bureau and on the internet sites...they tried to bribe her with $30 if we would not report them.
