(user photo) (user photo) the apartment was filthy when I moved in, cob webs and dead bugs everywhere. Paint on all the fixtures, the weather strip at the base of the door was torn off. Paint on the fire place...

Yet another robbery

Turtle Creek (aka Richdale Group) took my $400 deposit, and charged me an additional $160 on top of that for "carpet replacement". The carpet wasn't in mint condition when I left, but it was in very good shape, given that I'd been there 15 months. I wasn't crazy about the whole "Turtle Creek Experience" when I lived there, and getting burned like this leaves me feeling very hateful of the place.

When considering the cost of living at Turtle Creek, be sure to factor in whatever they ask for a deposit. It's almost certain you won't see any of it again.
