I have lived here for over 6 months. I got a GREAT deal moving in and there is no better apartment in West Des Moines for the price. The buildings are old but the apartments have a lot of character and the 2 bedroom I live in is HUGE. It feels like a home, not an apartment. There is a huge living room with fireplace and deck, separate kitchen and dining room, washer and dryer hookups, and the master bedroom is very large with a walk-in closet and 3/4 bath. The management is very responsive and accomodating. The grounds are well-kept. The pool is great in the summer. There are families, couples and singles living here but I never hear anyone around. I have had no problem with bugs or anything here. I have paid a lot more for apartments that don't have 1/2 the character that these do. Highly recommended!
