We have lived in this apartment for a little over a year and just renewed our lease for another year. The apartment complex was built in the 70's, but the management are very good about replacing things that need replaced. BH management just took over in July or August of '08. And so far I have been very impressed with their promptness and professionalism. The doors, however, are not sound, and in the case that you have a neighbor that likes to be loud in the hallway, you will hear them. But that is a minor offense, in my opinion. It is sometimes hard to find a parking spot right in front of your door at night, but I have only occasionally had to park on the opposite side of the lot (next to the building instead of in front of it.) Normally, I would just have to park in front of the next door down, which is not very far at all. I have never encountered the police in my building or the surrounding buildings, maybe the trouble makers are on the other side of the lot. I do believe that the new management will not put up with such tenants. And they also seem to be surveying the lot to see improvements that can be made. I look forward to what BH management has to offer for this property. My building is right by the playground, and yes, there is noise outside on nice days in the evening. But I would like you to find any apartment complex that does not have noise outside on the nice evenings. Unless, of course, it is a retirement community. In my opinion you couldn't ask for a better apartment. It is in a prime location, not 10 minutes from two malls, Target, Wall-mart, and grocery stores. The floor plans are huge, they actually do feel like small homes. The next step in living from these apartments, for me, is a single family home. Sorry for the lengthy review, but when I moved in here I was hesitant to for the bad reviews on this site. I am so glad I disregarded them, and decided to take a chance. I hope you do too.

Yes, actually now I have. They are very responsive and professional. Also, everyone I've encountered in the office has been very nice and welcoming.

Thanks for being positive--most of the issues just sound like people complaining about having to interact with other people. It's unavoidable, dears.
