Living at Wellington has been a nightmare from day 1. On moving day in July, we had no hot water. After calling and paging maintanance all day, without so much as a phone call, I had to get a key to a guest apartment so I knew I could take a shower that day. Then they didn't have keys for the fitness center or tanning bed (which we paid a deposit for). They finally scraped those up, but eventually the city shut down the tanning bed due to santation issues. I have yet to see my key deposit back form that one. The fitness center has an incredible amount of broken machinery, and a broken tv and broken stereo to accompany them.

Then there's the brilliant accounting practices. I can't count how many times we have been threated with eviction and law suit because they didn't properly credit our rent checks. The utilities are also incredibly expensive; heat bills average $150 in the winter and the place is still freezing. Another service they lured us in with them cancelled was reduced-price cable. They locked us into a contract for the cable that we could absolutely not break, then mid-lease, broke it themselves. This place is an absolute disaster and cannot justify the rent they charge. I would not recommend Wellington to anyone.
