We moved into Wellington at the end of May 2001. The apartment was filthy, the blinds were broken, and the central air didn't work. It took forever to get these things fixed. The maintenance person insisted that there was nothing wrong with the central air. Gee, I guess that it is normal for it to be 95?F in an apartment when the thermostat is set for about 72?F. Finally, they had a professional come out and repair the ac after I threatened lawsuit.

We were threatened with eviction 3 times because the idiots in the office credited our rent check to another account. That finally stopped after I threatened lawsuit again.

The winter of 2002-2003 our heat did not work and the morons could not get it fixed. They were there almost twice a week from December 2002 until we moved out in May 2003. I don't think they ever really got it fixed.

It always took numerous calls to actually have any repairs done. We went through 3 different washer/dryer combos while we lived there for 2 years. I don't know how many times I had to get the key to the guest apartment to do laundry.

Oh, and the bugs...we had spiders, ants, roly-polies, box elder bugs....you name it, we had it.

We lived near the fitness center and pool. They need to hire a professional to take care of the pool. I would watch it turn a weird gray color that I have never seen a pool turn before in my entire life, right from my patio. They also need to post a sign near the pools telling residents that their dogs are not allowed to swim in the pool. The pool was closed more than it was open. What a waste of money.

The office staff was rude to say the least. It took about 4 months to finally get back our deposit. Tara told me that they didn't have enough in petty cash to give it to me.

The noise was horrible. We had a young couple living behind us so their patio was right outside our bedroom window...I would love to strangle the idiot who designed that. Well, I called the police and paged maintenance several times because these people would be on their patio partying or fighting at 3am. One of their "friends" came banging on our bedroom window at 2am thinking it was their apartment.

I have a friend that lived at Wellington about a year before I did and she had her shoes stolen from her apartment by one of the maintenance people.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. What a huge waste of money.
