I would like to begin with the positives: the apartments and grounds are nice, and I was thrilled with the amenities. Except for a broken door fixture that was never fixed, most maintenance requests were fulfilled in a reasonable time frame. That said, I want to warn anybody considering moving here that the management staff is the rudest and most unprofessional bunch I have encountered in 10 years of apartment living.

At first the staff seemed nice; however, as soon as the ink dried on our lease agreement, we experienced an abrupt change in attitude. Instead of being attentive and responsive, both Jamie and Bret suddenly became quite rude. I was never late on rent, nor was I a problem tenant so this was quite baffling to me. Bret s condescending attitude was at times nearly intolerable and Jamie, the manager, isn t fit to run a trailer park let alone a luxury apartment community. I noticed that they were this way with other tenants, so I decided to take it in stride. Despite this, I was content to continue living there UNTIL I attempted to renew my lease.

I received a notice, DATED AND SIGNED BY THE MANAGER, which stated I could continue at my current rental rate if I agreed to sign another 12 month lease. When I went to see Jamie to accept this offer, she refused to honor it. I pointed out to her the fact that it was 1) in writing and 2) signed by her. She became very defensive and stated that it was a mistake and she would issue a new renewal package to me. I came into the office once more after this to speak with Jamie or Bret, but they both pretended to be too busy to help me. There was no one else in the office. After waiting twenty minutes, I finally left.

I should have reported this incident to the Better Business Bureau, but decided to cut my losses and take my business to someone who would appreciate it. I am currently residing in an apartment complex with a friendly, professional staff who regularly prove they are happy to have my business. I wish the same for everyone, and therefore advise you to look elsewhere unless you enjoy being treated like crap.
