There are some good things and bad things about this complex.

1. Very close to the highway
2. Freshly painted
3. Kind of tucked back into a wooded area
4. Amount of $ per sqr. foot is good
5. Maintained well
6. Quite

Bad things...
1. On first level there are a lot of spiders, cockroaches, and crickets
2. Not enough parking to accommodate all renters
3. Lots of solicitors
4. 1 neighbor got broken into and my car got broken into. Plus, my new neighbor got lied to by the apt. Rep about the break-ins
5. Marijuana grows wildly by the fence during the summer and fall - This could be a good thing too...

I find this review odd. Pest control is here once a month. I have been here two years and there has always been enough parking for one auto per unit. We have no fence here so I am wondering if they are talking about a different property. There is also not much for trees here.

I am very familiarly with Woodland Apartments in Woodbine, IA. There are NO cockroaches their, spiders, or crickets in the apartments. There use to be an apartment behind Woodland's that had all those problems, the person who wrote that first review in 2003 must not know where he lived. I have lived around Woodbine my entire 30 years of my life and never hear those things about Woodland Apartments. There is plenty of parking and a controlled entrance so no solicitors. And I do not know about the car getting broke into but I do know there is no fence for marijuana to grow, maybe the person who wrote the 2003 review should not smoke so much marijuana.
