It is like living a nightmare

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
A friend and I moved into The landing in '04 all was well for a short time. After living there for about 2 months our apartment was broken into and everything was destroyed we filed a police report and first thing the next day went to the apartment manager. She yelled at my room mate and I stating it was our fault. shortly after we went back to talk to this manager. We felt unsafe in our own home. She refused to let us end our lease even though we felt unsafe. She first stated that we could end our lease with a couple hundred dollars, then seemed to get mad when we agreed that, that is what we would do. She then started yelling at us again and said it would take at least $3000 to end our lease. Of course being two teenage girls we couldn't afford this, so she gave us another option of moving apartments for a cheaper rate. For two months my room mate and I didn't stay at our apartment, because we felt so unsafe so on the the third month we finally had enough money to move apartments. living at The landing was the worst year of my life It isn't worth it. The luxuries they talk about are a broken tanning bed and out dated fitness equipment.
