The apartments are overall great and the fittings and furnishings are new and top-notch but the management and the office people are a pain to deal with.

They are very curt and especially beware when you have to move out.

They will try and extract every penny possible.

For sure my lease expired and they didn't have the proper documents for us to renew, so we moved out and got sacked with an extra months rent. Absolute pain, they will try and jack your rent up, and don't even think about leaving your running shoes outside for a day because they will leave you a 'trash' notice.

Really? I've always gotten a call at least a month in advance before the lease ended. Asking if I plan to stay and if they should draw up a new lease. They are an apartment complex, wtf are you talking about they didn't have documents to renew the lease. Don't leave your crap outside. People can trip over it. Be happy they didn't throw it away. I really don't see any validity in this guys rant.
