For a student, the rent it decent. However with that said, remember that you get what you pay for. Within the first two months, we had to go to the office and request for several repairments: sink leaking, toilet cord broke in both bathrooms, AC not ventilating-room was superrr hot, heater wouldnt turn itself off or heat up for that matter, curtain was stuck. One of the biggest issure was our...."bug problem". The worst part of having all these repairs was the fact that maintenance isnt even available on the weekends unless its an emergency!
The appliances in the kitchen are fairly old and needed some repairs when my room mate and I came in as wll. The humidity in the apartments are horrible. Parking is a pain if you come in at a certain hour of the day.
Our electricity bill for this 2/2 has often come in for about half of what my parents pay for in their 6/3.5 HOME. Definatly not energy efficient in any way or manner.
Really, if you can afford to spend a little more, I suggest you do it. These apartments are old and so not worth the trouble.
