I lived in the Towne Square apartments for seven months. My stay there was well, not a pleasent one. When i moved in i was already six months pregnant. My neighbors two floors above me could be heard all night long. They would blast their stereo with the bass up high, came outside drunk, and one night there was fight between two girls. What did the staff say when i informed them of this' "Their lease is up next month". Needless to say, that next month was horrible. I came to noitce other things quickly, as in some of the staff working at Towne Square, had some very rude comments they would make daily about living there. I once overheard a staff member calling one lady "eggplant head" just because they didn't like her. One former matience member came over one day to fix my toilet, and upon arriving, acted throughly annoyed that i had called. On severel occasions when i needed something fixed at night (mostly the toilet) i would call the pager and never recieve a call back. In fact this staff member lived on-site. The other matience guy came from a different town at one in the morning to help. I asked the staff while i was pregnant if they could be a little lient on me when it came to picking up my dog's waste because i was pregnant and couldn't bend down well. They told me i would be fined $25 dollars just like everyone else. The office staffed seemed to favor people in my opinion, as in being buddy, buddy with some, and very rude to others. Now i will say the matience staff did a much better job after hiring a new employee, (the other guy was sent to a differnt complex) and they got the jobs done well. But i did not feel comfortable with the staff in the office. I remember one of the girls, or at least if felt like to me, glaring at me. Which i had never even rarely talken to her. Safety was a big issue there. They did not evict tentants who i felt were danger. Right next door, daily, they would have people knock on their doors all day long, talk for a minute, then the vistor would leave. I went right next door to ask them to turn the music down (i was nine months alone) and when the door was answered i was immideatly hit with the smell of smoke and the smell of Marijuana. These tenants in question would put varies braces on different parts of their body and act injured. One lady would stand across from my building and just stare at it all day long. I had even had stuff stolen out of my apartment. So all in all if you want cheap rent (which i know they have increased prices)then by all means move there, but i would strongly reccomend somewhere other then the towne square apartmets, because i did not feel safe living there.
