I lived there for quite a while. The apartments are a very good deal and fairly good size. Very large kitchens with lots of cabinets & decent size bedrooms. I had the extreme misfortune of living across from the manager. I here they recently got a new manager, but the previous one was completely unreasonable and snotty. She was discriminatory against my boyfriend's kids coming to visit just for the weekend twice a month. They were good kids. She said either someone would have to move out or they could not visit. The fair housing act (or something) states in one part that management cannot discriminate against the presence of children. Anyway, one summer Saturday evening (still light out) three of us were just having a casual conversation. We were not talking loud, not laughing or whatever, just talking quietly. THe TV was not even on. She came over and told us to either shut our window or to not talk. IT was really hot so we needed the windows open. We couldn't understand why she thought we were being loud because we were really not talking that loud. The management previously never ever had a problem with our noise.

If you want to live at the McCoy Apts, go around and ask the tenants what they think of the management. Ideally, ask the ones that live near them. They are probably the apts that are vacant the most. Living in the ones further down are probably a lot better because the managment isn't so noisy. They used to sit by the window and pear at everyone who walks by. They even told us that his brother came over too often (3 times a week in the evening to visit).

One more thing, there is no assigned parking and not enough spaces for all the cars that live in the apts. It's a living nightmare when people who don't live there come to visit and take all the spots and I have to drive down the road to park. The road doesn't exactly have parking spots either.
