I drive by this complex daily, and every day I thank God I don't live there. No, I'm not a tenant, but I did get a tour of the complex by a half-awake uninterested rep when I moved to the area. Pocatello Heights advertises itself as the area's premier "pet-friendly" apartments, and boy does it show. I was hard pressed to find a patch of grass not covered with dog crap. Garbage was everywhere, and the garages that went with the apartments looked like they could fall apart any minute. The apartment we were shown smelled strongly of cat urine, and was just cramped, dingy, and disgusting. Cleanup after the last tenant was clearly just a quick coat of paint on the walls, and even that was poorly done.

From what I've heard, other properties owned by Southeast Property Management are similar, including Fairway Condos and Lovejoy. It's very clear that this company is not interested at all in providing quality housing. If you're a college student looking for a cheap place that won't mind if you leave it a mess, by all means give them a try. Professionals, grad students, and faculty - Stay away!

I am not sure what apartments you were looking at but my living room is huge and we have plenty of room. These apartments are not cramped by any means.

Yes, from the outside they do look like crap. However, if you can find one of the apartments that they are redoing, then the inside does look pretty good. Although, they do overcharge for the "remodeled" apartments.
