I lived in the married/community housing...it is disgusting. I had to clean the MOLD off of our walls in our bathroom. I got sick after living there for a month with the MOLD because I have a heart condition and no one did anything about the MOLD of compensated me for anything. The Management is rude, unruly and careless I have actually had one of the managers curse at me. This is a ludicrous and extremely overpriced place to live. Do NOT look at the apartment they show people only look at the room and apartment they are going to assign to you. My sister was going to BYUI and looked at their show apartment and sent me pictures...the apartment I moved into looks nothing like the pictures. They also shove 5 people into an apartment sized to fit 3 at maximum in the community. Th drains here all have problems and most of the outlets spark and are rusty. The Bed frames are rusty and they are falling apart. The dressers, desks, and drawers everywhere do not open and shut properly. Also I paid my first 6 months with a credit card and then this month they told me the at 7 PM when I had called at 10 AM that morning that rent was due that day that they have a new policy and no longer take them. The bank was closed so I had to use an ATM and a get a money order which ended up costing me $5 extra. Also if you live in the married/community housing you can not even visit in Aspen Village even if you have friends or family. Then send out rude letters stating you will be charged $50 if you are in the clubhouse, the complex, or using their internet even though they are connecting and you might be visiting with someone. They are rude about everything including maintenance problems which you have to call 10 times just to get someone to fix them. I would rather live in my car then here again.
