I do not recomend living here, at all. It's worn down, has no air circulation and everything is falling apart. Mold is rampant. The cabinets are falling apart. We took over a lease and the owners took all of their deposit and did nothing to ready it for us, no carpet cleaning, didn't fix the things that were broken, or anything. We noted the things that were broken and after we moved out(we did a great job of cleaning) they charged us for the things that we had noted were broken. The whole time our windows seriously leaked. Our bathroom always stank no matter how often or how well we cleaaned it and they charged us for bathroom cleaning, even though we cleaned it. Laundry macheines were always working poorly and, despite the complaints of everyone, nothing was done to fix them(no hookups for your own either.
The owners had assumed we had moved out after doing nothing to reach us.
One thing that is good is the manager. She is great.

We live in Draper Oaks today. As we are moving soon, I thought I would look for an apartment in in the city we are moving to. I found this site and looked up Draper Oaks to see what anyone might say about living here. We also moved into an apartment vacated by someone leaving early. We knew that we assumed the condition of the apartment left by the previous couple because they broke their lease. This was the terms under which we rented the apartment. We signed a letter stating that before we rented it so any existing condition issues were then assumed by us. Our apartment was rented knowing no repairs would be made and that we were were responsible for the condition of the apartment when we moved in. How could this couple move in not knowing that since they undoubtedly signed the same letter? In our opinion, this is a great place to live with great rates and close to campus. The managers are great and make every effort to fix anything that needs attention. I had to write this because I get really tired of some neighbors who complain about anything. They seem to be people who will complain no matter what. Get real! The laundry machines work just fine for me. (Maybe it is something they are doing?) Also, whenever I saw mold, I cleaned it and it went away. Maybe that explains alot about this person? Since married housing is so hard to find right now, I doubt this review will mean much, but I wanted to add my comments anyway.
