I'm glad to be out of there. I spend almost the first year of my marriage there. You can hear everyone and everything (both above and to your sides). I spent many hours in the winter shoveling my own walk and stairs. Grounds never put down ice melt, I purchased my own. The management blamed the tenants, at the time, for personal problems because of the stress we put on them. I have managed apartments for 2 years and never blamed personal problems on my tenants because of the undo stress they put on me. If it's that stressful, find new employment. Their office hours are 1-4pm...you've got to be kidding me. When I was managing, my office hours were 9am-5pm and then I had workers there until 7pm.
I knew the apartment would be small so I can't complain about that. Parking is a joke in the winter. The plowing is poorly done and ice build up was a terrible problem.
The apartment was poorly built. We lived on the ground floor and we had molding and water damage in our closet because of crack in the foundation and poor sealing. It took them 2 weeks to get someone to fix it. It took them a month to replace our microwave. It was "always" on order.
The clubhouse was ALWAYS locked because of "noise" complaints. If someone had the TV on mute, the static would be too noisy. The washer and dryers were always in disrepair. The main problem was that people would put bleach in and since the machines were never cleaned by management or maintenance, many dark loads ended up with bleach spots.
I'm glad to be gone, and I'll never look back.
