I think that this is a fine place to live, especially for young people starting out or those who just want a safe, quiet community to come home to at night. The property is gorgeous, like a park..there's a little bridge and benches all over and a ton of green space. The buildings are well-maintained..I don't know what that last person was talking about..doors falling apart' where' what doors' Not as far as I've ever seen. Noise is at an absolute minimum, as low as you can possibly expect living right next to people. The girls at the office bend over backwards and try their best to make everyone happy...of course, there are those who expect to be treated like they are royalty and get all of the girls attention (there are only 3 girls and 3 maintenance men for 240 apartments...you can't demand all of their time) and those are the only complainers. I think they do a great job of accomdadating everyone. For the price, you get a gorgeous apartment..it is up to you to live responsibly and take care of the apartment..it is not yours..respect it...I have heard of residents who completely trashed their own carpets so that they weren't even white anymore, and then got angry when management expected them to replace it themselves. The girls are always there to help if something goes wrong, but take responsibility for your own actions and you will see how nice it is to live at Somerset..
