As a young woman renting my very first apartment, naturally, I was excited. Upon entering my apartment there was a bathroom sink in the middle of the floor. The office staff had not bothered to make sure my apartment was ready although they new my move in date weeks in advance. I should have known right there but against my better judgement I allowed the office to talk me into accepting another apartment. Things went down hill from there. My apartment was in constsnt need of repair which was never responded to in a timely manner. My mail box door had been ripped off and the office refused to fix it. I did not receive mail for several weeks. It was not until I contacted Draper & Kramer dirctly that the problems were attempted to be fixed. The property manger was completely unprofessional, irresponsible, uncaring and a complete bubble head. The final straw was during a cold winter month, there was no heat for several days and the oven was not working. When the office was contacted the so-called manager had the gaul to be irritated that we had even called. In addition to the crappy maintenance work and the rude office staff the neighbors are the worse and its becoming ghetto haven and trailer park central!!!! So if you like living among low-class loud and unrefined individuals, somerset is the place for you.
