Expensive, but a wonderful experience.

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
I lived at 200 Arlington Place from 2000 through 2001. I've lived at about one new place per year since 1992, and I can say that my apartment here was my favorite of the bunch.
I lived in one of the studio apartments that is pie-shaped, and has the wall of windows. For the Chicago suburbs, I thought that was really unique, and just was a blast. The Fourth of July parade went by just under my window (I was on the fourth floor).
I almost never had to contact the staff in my year there. This is a good thing.
Everything in the apartment was quality. I never saw one pest of any type in my time there.
The indoor pool is nice, and the exercise room is decent, but not great (I lived in the building on Dunton, and am referring to those facilities).
The area is wonderful. The Metra stop being that close is great for commuters, and La Chicanita Mexican restaurant is a great place to eat, as well as Granny's.
The parking situation was adequate. The garage is handy, but in my building, I had to walk across the street, and probably 50 yards to the door. Not totally inconvenient, but as I was paying $90/month to park our two cars there, it would have been nice to *stay dry*. Oh well. :)
Summary - one of my favorite places. I suppose it helps prove that you get what you pay for!
